How would you like to give?
Donate to Shunpike so we can keep showing up for local artists
At the end of 2020, a remarkably turbulent year, we asked for your help to build a brighter future for the arts. Many of you answered our call, collectively donating over $60,000 to Shunpike through GOLDEN and our year-end fundraiser. With your support, we committed to advocating even harder for a sustainable arts ecosystem in Washington.
Throughout this year, local artists have breathed new life into our recovering community. Empty retail windows transformed into vibrant installations. Vacant venues became private rehearsal spaces. Corporate campuses morphed into studios for sculptors and makers. Shunpike has watched proudly and worked in the wings, expanding the resources and opportunities for visionary people to create cool stuff.
In our 20 years of service to Washington’s arts community, we’ve never been more inspired by its resilience and imagination. Artists never fail to show up for us. We’re asking for your support so that Shunpike can keep showing up for artists. Donate to our year-end campaign so we can make the next 20 years even more outstanding than the last.

Why We Fundraise
Each year, Shunpike relies on our community of donors to help us support our operational costs so we can keep our fiscal sponsorship fees low and accessible to both emerging and established artists. In fact, we’ve managed to keep our fees consistent and below the industry average for over a decade! This way, we are able to ensure the same quality of service to our clients regardless of the size of their arts group or the amount of income they fundraise on their own. But since we don't break even on fees alone, we depend on your generous contributions to sustain our incredible team and meet the needs of our growing organization.
Signature Programs
Fiscal Sponsorship
A contractual relationship between Shunpike and mission-aligned arts groups that enables said groups to enjoy certain benefits of being nonprofit without having to file for 501(c)(3) status by themselves. This allows groups to share resources, which keeps administrative expenses low and in proportion to the size of each organization. In other words: Shunpike does the back office work, so over 150 groups can spend more time (and money) on their artistic mission.
Artists of Color Expo & Symposium (ACES)
BIPOC-led arts conference with a mission to center and celebrate artists of color in the Pacific Northwest
Storefronts
Pop-up, street-facing display spaces in Seattle & Bellevue for installation of 2-D or 3-D artwork by local artists
Corporate Sponsored Programs
Amazon AiR
