My paintings come from a deep appreciation of nature and a desire to communicate our shared relationship with it. Throughout all my work, I reference the landscape through a process that demonstrates the interconnections of parts to a whole, encouraging awareness of micro and macro environments. Through personal observations, photographs, and memories, I translate them through reductive systems of mark-making.
