Come as you are and express yourself through guided painting sessions in an urban outdoor setting–no experience needed. Enjoy light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages while you create in community. Led by artist Jonarra Swanson and music by Yuna Verse.



Jonarra Swanson is a modern contemporary artist from Federal Way, Washington - based in Seattle, Washington. She uses her creative passion to add value, solve problems and emphasize community. She is an artist driven by capturing the essence of humanity through the exploration of balancing two things: self-expression and community connection. Her involvement ranges from teaching youth and adult classes, participating in group art shows, city murals, vending in retail spaces and creating high quality commission artwork. She is also the founder of MUVA a consignment retail space for other moms who are creative entrepreneurs. Allowing moms to have a place to monetize their work and create more products for their business. This shop is located in downtown Seattle on the third floor of Columbia tower.



Yuna is multi-genre singer-songwriter who is still finding her voice and confidence in the performance space. She has always found music as a place where she can be big as she wants in a world that works to make her feel small and isolated. Her performance debut was with Shunpike's ACES back in 2021 during quarantine and has been touring in Seattle's open mic scene since. Yuna was born and raised in the unsurrendered lands of Hawai'i, eternally grateful to the land and people who put love into her.



ACES // Artists of Color Expo and Symposium is BIPOC-led program produced by Shunpike that creates space for BIPOC artists to be bold and create through experimentation and community intention. ACES 2025 Summer Series and the ACES Gallery are supported by 4Culture, Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, and ArtsWA.



Shunpike envisions a community where independent artists and arts groups thrive creatively and economically, and where their work is widely valued as fundamental to the cultural, social, and economic well-being of Washington state.
